Would you like to practice your favorite sport during your vacation or weekend? At Camping l’Artaudois, located in Le Pradet in the Var, we offer one yoga session a week all year round. Situated between Hyères-les-palmiers and Toulon, this southern destination is ideal for water sports, relaxation, hiking, cycling and swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. Yoga is an important part of camping activities, so we’ve put our yoga teacher Jennifer at your disposal.

A word from ouryoga teacher

My name is Jennifer, I’m 32 and since May 2022 I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my passion as a yoga teacher. When I was very young, I started doing circus, which gave me a taste for movement. I then went on to dance, where I worked on my gestures to achieve greater precision and amplitude in my movements. As I grew older, yoga came into my life as a complement to the flexibility I’d acquired at a younger age. Little by little, this discipline grew to become my priority. Today, I’m happy to be able to share this discipline with others, adding my own personal touch.

In these classes, you’ll discover a dynamic form of yoga known as Vinyasa. With my background as a dancer, I attach great importance to conveying detail and beauty in all the gestures that make up the sequence. We start with a gentle practice to get the body moving, then continue with a dynamic sequence. We’ll repeat this routine 3 times so that everyone can record and experience it to the full. We finish with a return to calm to relax body and mind.

Vinyasa yoga

The term “vinyasa” comes from the Sanskrit “Nyasa”, meaning “to place”. The practice of Vinyasa is the most popular form, thanks to its variety of execution and its dynamic, athletic style, which leaves plenty of room for creativity. The fluidity of this practice encourages grace and awareness of the body in space.

During your stayat the Artaudois campsite

Several relaxation activities will be offered throughout your stay at our campsite. During the low season, we offer a yoga session at weekends, as well as other wellness activities such as stretching and gentle gymnastics. During the summer vacations, we keep these wellness activities open to all, adding aquagym 5 times a week.
