Campsite near Sanary-sur-Mer

The village of Sanary-sur-Mer, just west of the city of Toulon on the coast, is ideal for a typical Provencal getaway. With its charming little port and narrow streets, you’ll find yourself strolling through a life-size postcard. Easily accessible from our campsite in the Var thanks to the tunnel under Toulon, you can discover all its splendors in just twenty minutes by car.

Its small fishing port

A short stroll along the quayside, where in the morning, when the weather’s fine, you can meet the fishermen selling their catch of the day. On the menu, sea bream, red mullet, girelles and scorpion fish for grilling and fish soups.

A charming Provencal village

What better place to stroll than the pedestrian streets of the town center, where you’ll find numerous art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. You’ll be delighted if you want to go shopping in our beautiful Var department.

Facing the sea, near the port of Sanary, you’ll find the Tour Romane, home to the Fréderic Dumas diving museum, with a number of objects relating to the history of autonomous scuba diving, as well as Cousteau, Dumas and many others.

The must-seeof Provencal markets

To discover the Var and Provence, we invite you to the big Wednesday morning market in Sanary. Voted France’s most beautiful market by TF1 in 2018, it remains a must-do during your vacation. Looking for local produce? You’ll find olive oils, tapenade, Provencal fabrics, navettes, colorful fruits and vegetables…

In July and August, take advantage of the cool evening to discover Sanary’s night market. It’s a great way to round off a day spent by the pool, sunbathing on a deckchair in one of our air-conditioned accommodations or on your shady pitch.
