A remarkable natural area
The ornithological reserve is home to a multitude of bird species, including the emblematic pink flamingos, which you’ll be sure to spot. You can take a romantic stroll there on your vacation, and why not stay at our campsite in the Var, in a lovely Pampelonne mobile home with air conditioning and TV. With its pretty portholes and bedroom, it’s perfectly suited to a short couple’s holiday, where you can enjoy beautiful walks and sunsets together.

The route des salins is an ideal way to take an invigorating walk or bike ride. On the peninsula, you’ll enjoy traditional harbors like La Madrague, and on the western tombolo, you’ll enjoy board sports such as kite-surfing and surfing, as the beach at Almanarre faces the mistral.
Last but not least, the Tour Fondue allows you to board a shuttle to the Golden Isles, Porquerolles, Port Cros and Ile du Levant (an unspoilt archipelago where you can only get around by bike).
